{"id":6,"date":"2009-01-26T17:00:10","date_gmt":"2009-01-26T22:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thebreadwoman.com\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2009-01-26T17:00:10","modified_gmt":"2009-01-26T22:00:10","slug":"grain-storage","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/thebreadwoman.com\/?page_id=6","title":{"rendered":"Grain Storage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Grain storage is an issue that every family encounters when beginning to bake freshly ground wheat. \u00a0&#8220;Where do you keep all your wheat?&#8221; \u00a0We have searched high and low and have found two solutions which should meet your grain storage needs quite well.<\/p>\n<p>Most grain storage solutions have one problem: \u00a0they are all too small. \u00a0We have tried multiple storage containers from numerous vendors. \u00a0When you try to pour a 50# bag of grain into the container, you always have grain left over. \u00a0Who wants to do that? \u00a0Not us. \u00a0We don&#8217;t have time to worry with leftovers in a paper bag that takes up space.<\/p>\n<p>The first solution is a traditional bucket with screw on lid. \u00a0However, it holds a 50# bag of grain with room for additional space.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The second solution is a rectangular container with a top which flips up just past midway. \u00a0It also holds a 50# bag of grain with extra room.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Both solutions stack well. \u00a0The round container has a better airtight seal than the rectangle. \u00a0However, the rectangle has a nice size footprint to it and stacks easily. \u00a0We recommend the round container for long term storage\/stacking and the rectangular container for persons who go through their grain pretty quickly.<\/p>\n<p>The price for the containers is available upon request via the Contact Us link. \u00a0If you don&#8217;t store that much grain, they also make great pet food containers or storage bins for beans or other items.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grain storage is an issue that every family encounters when beginning to bake freshly ground wheat. \u00a0&#8220;Where do you keep all your wheat?&#8221; \u00a0We have searched high and low and have found two solutions which should meet your grain storage needs quite well.
